CROP TOP SEASON

Today was the first nice-esque-ish day of the season, so I decided to throw on some “size-inappropriate” clothing and go out with Andrew to drink hibiscus lemonade while he ate a burrito (I’d already eaten lunch, FTR). I’m not going to pretend that I’m always happy being a chubby babe… And for me, if I adopted a healthier lifestyle I would probably lose weight (something I will have to come to terms with sooner or later). I’ve kind of distanced myself from the Body-Pos movement, because I got tired of being treated like some kind of pariah or traitor because I’m not always cool with being fat. So fuck that, body-policing sucks all across the board.

I’m about true body positivity which for me means loving myself and my body no matter whether it’s healthy or sick, thin or fat. And I guess, to try to relate this to these photos, that I’m pledging to not allow my mixed feelings about being the size that I am now to get in the way of having a ~good time~. This summer is going to be all about bikes, beaches, bikinis, beers, babes and bustiers. If I stay this size or lose 20 lbs or gain 50, I’m still going to wear and do what I want!

Also, in case you hadn’t noticed, I made Andrew shave half of my head in some kind of delirious fever dream at like 3 am the other night. I think I might be having a mid-life crisis.
